The Conflict Resolution Center (CRC) offers a district criminal court mediation program for citizen-initiated warrants in the 36th Prosecutorial District. Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC)-funded programs for juvenile mediation, conflict resolution education, Restorative Circles and Teen Courts are used by schools and Juvenile Justice for “at-risk” and court-involved offenders.
The CRC currently offers Domestic Violence Intimate Partner programs for men and women accused of intimate partner violence. The Duluth Model is used for the Men and Turning Points is used for the women. The CRC serves the citizens of Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, & Catawba Counties for this service.
